We were very pleased with our stay at the Rainbow Lodge. The staff were incredibly friendly and laid back and our room worked out great for what we needed. It feels very "homelike" and not as commercial as bigger facilities. It was in a great location for access to places in and around Manitou Springs and served as homebase for my family (including two children) for our weekend. I would definitely recommend this place to someone for a short trip or a long one, with or without kids!
The only thing I might suggest is to add a few items like scrambled eggs or meat to the breakfast. For anyone trying to eat a low carb meal, it would help.
The management was not there at checkout.
Rooms were large and clean. Appreciated the microwave and refridgerator in the suite.
Parking was tight and others would park in front of your unit. No iron in the room.
Cleanliness of room, location and price.
Continental breakfast was not expansive enough
Quiet rooms, only 10 min driving distance from Manitou Springs city centre and the Pikes Peak Cog Railway station.
Clean rooms, but the bathroom may require some refurbishing.
the place is clean and friendly. definitely a mom and pop operation, which we loved. the room was clean and comfortable but not fancy. it met all our needs and exceeded our expectations. this is not a luxury hotel, but a truly comfortable, friendly and hospitable hotel. quirky and cute.
Very friendly staff. Clean and quiet. Close to all the beautiful places in Co. Springs. Close to doing too. Dog friendly with trail right across the street.
I enjoyed the whole package. I loved the fact they accepted our little dachsund. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. And the kitchen was nice to have also.
The vintage flavor of the inn was great. Very well maintained and clean.
Felt old and stuffy. Bathroom very dated and felt dirty. Felt unsafe at this location. Not worth the money.
Friendly staff, large rooms, nice location, clean.
Breakfast choices not that great
Excellent Lodging-Parking at door for easy unloading-all shopping near- by. Great Value.
Location (close to Garden of Gods and Manitou Springs)
Extremely noisy (it's in between two main roads) Wi-Fi in the room did work (however, it works outside the room closer to the main lodge)
The location was perfect for all that is available around Colorado Springs. I loved the L-shaped room with one bed at one corner and the other bed at the other corner. I felt the price was very reasonable considering how close it was to all the vacation spots around Colorado Springs. The room was kept very clean during our 3 day stay. Liked that they offered capuchino coffee during the continental breakfast.
Besides the coffee and the cereal, could stand to offer nicer rolls and perhaps to offer waffles during the continental breakfast.
Saving grace was hot water worked, wi-fi worked, tv worked I slept well and got out fast next morning
Really disappointed when breakfast room only offered Cheerios and a cup of coffee. This is not what I expect a from a hotel that advertises breakfast. No tea or coffee facility in room Hotel very tired looking Counted 2 ants in my bathroom
